Terms of Use
Limetag for Android. Last updated: .
These terms apply when you use Limetag, made by Kineto Soft (Ugur Akcelik, Turin, Italy, VAT IT12938420010; “we”, “us”). By using Limetag, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Adults only
You must be 18 or older to use Limetag.
The service
- Limetag helps you make listing photos of the things you sell. You shoot an item from guided angles in the app. Our server checks each photo and makes a set: your item cut out on pure white or on a studio backdrop, for every angle.
- To find and cut out the item, every photo you shoot is sent to Google’s Gemini API (see the Privacy Policy).
- When the app offers them, you can also order AI scenes: AI-made images of your item in a setting.
- Photos and sets are deleted from our server after 7 days. Save the images you want to keep to your phone.
- Making a set needs Limetag Pro or credits. Nothing that sends a photo to Google is free.
Limetag Pro
- Limetag Pro is a subscription sold through Google Play, yearly or monthly, at the price shown before you buy.
- It includes 50 sets in each 30-day window, counted from the day your subscription started. The count starts again every 30 days. The yearly plan has 12 windows, and the last one runs until your renewal. Unused sets do not roll over.
- The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in Google Play (Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). After you cancel, Limetag Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Deleting the app or your Limetag account does not cancel the subscription. Cancel it in Google Play.
- AI scenes are not part of Limetag Pro. They use credits.
- We may change the price for future periods. Google Play tells you before a new price applies, as its rules require.
Credit packs
- Credit packs are one-time purchases in Google Play, at the price shown before you buy. They are not a subscription and never renew.
- Credits never expire.
- 1 set or 1 AI scene = 1 credit. A set uses a credit only when your plan has no sets left, or when you have no plan.
- Credits belong to your Limetag account. Save your account with Google in the app to keep them after a reinstall or on a new phone. Deleting your account removes unused credits for good.
Refunds
- Payments and refunds go through Google Play and follow Google Play’s terms and refund policy.
- If a set fails, you get the set back automatically: a plan set goes back to your plan, and a credit goes back to your balance. A failed AI scene gives its credit back.
- If Google Play refunds a credit pack, we remove that pack’s credits (as many as are left). If you already used some of the refunded credits, they are taken from your next credit pack, and you can’t upload photos or make sets until they are paid back. If a subscription is refunded, Limetag Pro ends.
Your photos
- Your photos stay yours, and so do the images Limetag makes from them. You let us use your photos only to run the service for you: to store them, check them, send them to Google Gemini and make your sets.
- You confirm that you own your photos or have the right to use them, and that they do not break the law or anyone else’s rights.
- Shoot only the item. Do not include people, faces or other people’s personal details without their permission.
AI scenes
- AI scenes are made by AI. They may differ from your real item, for example in colour, shape, size, text or small details. Check every AI scene before you use it.
- You must say that an image is AI-made wherever a marketplace’s rules or the law require it, for example under the EU AI Act (Article 50). Limetag marks AI scenes as AI-made in the app and in the image file, but telling your buyers is up to you.
- The white and studio images use your photo’s own pixels. Still, your listing must show your item honestly, including any flaws.
Acceptable use
Do not use Limetag to:
- upload anything illegal, sexual, violent or hateful, or photos you have no right to use;
- photograph people without their permission, or anyone under 18;
- mislead buyers, or list items that are illegal to sell;
- break, overload or copy the service, use bots or scripts, or get around its limits or payments.
We may block photos, or suspend or close an account, that breaks these terms. Google may also refuse photos.
No warranty
Limetag is provided “as is”. Photo checks and cut-outs are automatic and can be wrong, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. As far as the law allows, we do not promise it will be free of errors or always available, and we are not liable for indirect losses from using it, such as lost sales. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
Changes
We may change Limetag or update these terms. If we change the terms, we will change the date above. If you keep using Limetag after a change, the new terms apply. A change never takes away credits you already bought.
Law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.
